Walk the room. Capture every corner.
One room, scanned from start to finish. On the left, the room from above — where you stand, where the phone points, and the plan your taps are building. On the right, your phone at that moment: the camera view, what the app draws over it live, and its prompt, word for word.
- Step 1 of 10
Stand inside the room and start
What you doOpen your project, tap New scan, and stand somewhere you can see two walls and the floor. Tap Start scan.
What your phone showsThe Prepare to scan card checks that your phone can scan and asks for the camera, once.
Images are processed on your phone and never leave it.The room from above Your phone, live - Step 2 of 10
Aim at the first corner and tap it
What you doWalk towards any corner. Point the phone so the spot where the two walls meet the floor is on screen, then tap that spot.
What your phone showsA green marker appears on the floor corner, exactly where you tapped.

Keep going, corner by corner
What you doTurn and follow the next wall. Tap the third corner the same way.
What your phone showsThe outline grows on the floor in the camera view: two walls now, drawn in green.
Walk at about half your normal pace — fast motion is the most common cause of lost tracking. The room from above Your phone, live - Step 5 of 10
The last corner
What you doWalk the last wall and tap the fourth corner.
What your phone showsThree walls are drawn — and the first marker turns gold: it is waiting to close the room.

What you doTurn back to where you started and tap the gold corner again — or tap Close outline.

Measure the ceiling height
What you doTilt the phone up. Tap where the ceiling meets each vertical guide line — or tap Flat ceiling to use one height for the whole room.
What your phone showsA vertical guide line rises from every floor corner; each ceiling tap is marked in blue.
Too close to the wall? The app asks you to step back so the height can be measured. The room from above Your phone, live - Step 8 of 10
Mark the door — two taps
What you doFace the door. Tap one corner of it on the wall, then the opposite corner, and choose Door.

And the window
What you doFace the window and do the same: one corner, the opposite corner, then Window.
What your phone showsThe window is cut into its wall — in the plan, the 3D model and the schedules.

Eight habits of a good scan
The same advice the app gives under Help → How to scan a room.
Stand in a corner so the camera can see two walls and the floor at once.
Walk at about half your normal pace. Fast motion blurs frames.
Aim slightly downward so each frame has a wall and part of the floor.
Any wall you skip cannot be reconstructed. Walk the full perimeter.
Anything that moves during the scan is captured as part of the room.
Tracking needs visual texture. Dim rooms and strong glare both hurt.
Mirrors, glass and polished floors confuse depth estimation.
Finish where you started — the overlap lets tracking correct drift.
The app produces a measurable approximation of a room, not a survey-grade model — always verify critical dimensions by hand.
