Good to know

Direct and group chats

Pick one person for a direct chat or several for a group. A chat holds up to 50 people, and any member can rename a group.

Reactions that show who

React to any message with an emoji. Hover a reaction to see who added it, and the author gets a notification.

Know when it was read

An eye icon beside your message turns blue once someone else in the chat has read it.

Keep your list tidy

Star chats into Favorites, Hide a chat until a new message arrives, Mark as Unread, or mute its phone notifications.

Calls from the header

The phone and camera buttons start a voice or video call with everyone in the chat. Calls need Professional.

Scoped to the workspace

Chats belong to a workspace, and a permission set gives Chat either None or Full Access.
